Welcome to T-2!
My name is Amy Eubank. I moved to Lindsay in 1981 when I was in fifth grade and I graduated from Lindsay myself. I went to University of Science and Arts in Chickasha in 1994. I have taught in the Lindsay School system since. I have taught First grade for nine years and Second grade for nine years and this will be my third year in T-2.
I have three children that all graduated from Lindsay High School. Madison is my oldest child and she is 24, she is a part time student at OCCC in Oklahoma City, Hunter and Hayden are boys and they are 21 and 19. Hunter is transferring from Northern Oklahoma College in Enid to OU. His major is Engineering. Hayden is starting his college career at OU going for Architectual Engineering.
Welcome to T-2,
I am so fortunate to be your child's teacher this year. I am very excited about our upcoming year in T-2. Our year will be full of new learning and great fun. My curriculum consists of Saxon Phonics, Spelling, Harcourt Reading, Everyday Math, Social Studies, Science, and Handwriting. We will also be very involved in Reading Renaissance (AR) and Accelerated Math. These are both computer based programs that help me track the student's progress.
We have weekly spelling tests. I send a spelling list home on Monday of every week in their daily folder to keep at home to study. I give a pre-test on Wednesday, and then a final on Friday for the students who need another chance to make a 100% on Wednesday.
Homework is a vital part of T-2. This program provides an extra year for development purposes, but is also to challenge them to be the best they can be. I
