LINDSAY SCHOOLS CHILD NUTRITION INFORMATION:
Beginning March 24 th , Lindsay Public Schools will be offering a breakfast and lunch at no charge to any
children ages 18 and under in the household. The meals will be available for pick-up at the Elementary
car line from 9 am to 12 pm each day. Please remain in your car and the meals will be brought out to
you. The meals can also be delivered to anyone living outside the city limits. On Monday the 23rd please
call the school at 405-756-3131(please do not leave voicemail) or email rchapman@lindsay.k12.ok.us (you may email at anytime) to give us the following information: Pick-up or delivery, name, bus route number and how many children needing a meal. Once you have made contact with us one time you will be on the list for meals the duration of our school closing.

Lindsay Public School Patrons
On Monday, March 16th the Oklahoma State Board of Education held an emergency meeting resulting in a mandate that all public schools in Oklahoma close from March 17 through April 6. This includes all extracurricular activities. ALL CAMPUS FACILITIES WILL BE CLOSED DURING THIS TIME. (This will include the Elementary Playground). The one exception will be all offices will be open starting Monday the 23rd to take phone calls and answer any question you may have. As of right now, we do not have any information on when or if extracurricular activities will be made up. During this time period we are asking for the help and understanding of our patrons, we are in this together.
The State Department of Education is instructing districts not to offer instructional services during the initial closer; however patrons in Lindsay will be contacted on Monday the 23rd by grade level principals on software packages for individual use by our students.
Members of Lindsay Public School administration will meet to plan for continuing services to our students during this time. We will share information as soon as possible on meal service through our child nutrition program.
The health of our students and staff continues to be our number one priority. If you believe you have been exposed to the coronavirus/COVID-19 and/or have symptoms, immediately self-quarantine and contact the COVID-19 Call Center at (877) 215-8336 or the Leopard Nation Wellness Station at (405) 756-1340.

Based on Governor Stitt's recommendation, Lindsay Public Schools will remain open and all activities will continue as scheduled. (Remember Spring Break will be next week, March 16th-20th)
Additionally, I would like to assure the community that the district is taking every precaution to safeguard the health of our students and staff.

The date of our musical performance for Kindergarten through 4th grade students has been changed from March 12th to April 15th. KG, T1 & 1st is scheduled for 9:30am with 2nd, 3rd & 4th performing at 1:30pm. All performances will be in the HS auditorium.
Today, Friday, February 28th is early release for students at 2:00pm. Elementary car line will begin at 1:40.
School will be dismissed at regular time today with the elementary car line beginning at 3:00pm. Next early release day is Friday, February 28th.

Due to uncertain weather conditions, the Saturaday games for the Heatly Classic Basketball Tournament will start at 12:00pm.
Today, January 10th is Early Release. Students will be dismissed at 2:00 with Elementary car line beginning at 1:40.
Friday, December 20th is the final day of school before Christmas break. All students will be released at 2:30pm with the Elementary school car line beginning at 2:10pm. School will resume on Monday, January 6, 2020. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season.
