Beginning in January, for each High School basketball game this season, you will be required to show a certain ticket at the gate to enter the arena. Governor Stitt put out an executive order saying that there can only be four fans per participant in the arena. If you do not receive a ticket from a participant, there will be extra available in the Superintendent’s office. You can stop by and pick them up, or call 756-3131 to reserve one the day of the game. Tickets can’t be reserved or handed out until the day of the game. We want as many fans in the stands as possible, so please notify the school if you can’t attend so someone else can use your ticket. If there are extra tickets, they will be available at the gate of our Lindsay home games only. Very sorry for the inconvenience.
Any questions, please feel free to call Tom Ferguson at 756-3133.

School will dismiss at 2:30 today with elementary car line beginning at 2:15. We wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Today we were notified of two students in the elementary testing positive for covid-19. These two students are family members and have been quarantined. Due to the positive tests, we have quarantined several other students who were in close contact. These students are the first positive test we have received since before Thanksgiving break. As superintendent, I feel it is very important to continue in- person learning this next week. The students need this time in the classroom to catch up on vital educational instruction. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Sincerely, Dan Chapman

The basketball season is here and the Lindsay Athletic Department is anxious to once again enlist a Hospitality Committee for your support of Lindsay Basketball.
The Charles K. Heatly Classis is scheduled for January 7-9. We plan to have a meal and desserts available each day and night of the tournament. As a member, you will be able to enjoy the hospitality room during the tournament. We would ask that you please bring a dish each day to help with the large number of people that we accommodate. For more information contact Tommy Ferguson at (405) 756-3133.
The price for the Hospitality Committee is $130.00 for a couple and $70.00 for a single. If you would like to include your children, the price will be an extra $30.00 per school age child. Make checks payable to the Lindsay Athletic Department and mail or bring it to Kristen Holland or Tommy Ferguson. Each member of the committee will receive a pass for yourself and your spouse which admits each of you to every home high school and junior high basketball game for the season. Our admission prices to the games this year are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students for the high school games and $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students for the junior high games.

Lindsay School Patrons:
Reminder: we are returning to in-person learning on November 30th. We are hoping the students who chose virtual education before the break will return to the classrooms. We have 3 weeks before our next holiday break, these 3 weeks will be very beneficial to the education of our students. Starting Monday we will be asking all employees, middle school, and high school students to wear masks. We will also be asking everyone to wear a mask when attending our extra-curricular events. At this point we will go to great lengths to keep our school open. Your patience and help is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Dan Chapman

I appreciate your understanding during our recent distance learning. I have decided to resume in-person learning on Monday, November 30th. I apologize for any difficulties distance learning caused and thank you for your patience. The education of our students is of upmost importance and I feel in- person learning is the best way for our students to achieve success. All extra-curricular activities will resume as scheduled. I am constantly monitoring the situation and striving to make the best decision for our district. Sincerely, Dan Chapman
