This year Lindsay Public Schools implemented a new school wide handbook policy pertaining to Valentine’s Day. We wanted to make sure all parents were aware of this new rule. VALENTINE'S DAY: In the interest of the health and safety of our students, NO deliveries of any kind will be accepted at school for Valentine's Day. Please understand every moment of in person education is valuable. Valentine delivers take away a large portion of our school day. Thank you for your understanding.

The Child Nutrition program would like to announce the USDA has extended the SSO program to May 13, 2021. The extension of the SSO Program will allow schools to serve meals to ALL students at NO COST, regardless of income status or free and reduced lunch qualifications. In addition, parents or guardians can pick up meals for their children on the virtual program. We are offering breakfast and lunch at no charge to any child age 18 and under in the household. All virtual students may pick up breakfast and lunch from the cafeteria starting 1/11/2021. The meals will be available for pick-up at the Elementary car line from 10:30 am to 11:30 am each day. Please remain in your car and the meals will be brought out to you. In order to reserve a meal please call the school at 405-756-3131 Ext.239 (please do not leave a voicemail) or email mrandol@lindsay.k12.ok.us . We will need the following information: name and how many children need a meal. Once you have made contact with us one time, you will be on the list for meals until we are notified otherwise. I would strongly encourage you to take advantage of this service; it is vital to our school nutrition program and our federal funding. Sincerely, Melissa Randol, Child Nutrition Director

Beginning in January, for each High School basketball game this season, you will be required to show a certain ticket at the gate to enter the arena. Governor Stitt put out an executive order saying that there can only be four fans per participant in the arena. If you do not receive a ticket from a participant, there will be extra available in the Superintendent’s office. You can stop by and pick them up, or call 756-3131 to reserve one the day of the game. Tickets can’t be reserved or handed out until the day of the game. We want as many fans in the stands as possible, so please notify the school if you can’t attend so someone else can use your ticket. If there are extra tickets, they will be available at the gate of our Lindsay home games only. Very sorry for the inconvenience. Any questions, please feel free to call Tom Ferguson at 756-3133.
