Lindsay School Patrons, This morning the State Board of Education voted to close school buildings for the remainder of the year and resume the school year on April 6th with remote learning. The Board also recommended districts end the school year during the week of May 8th through May 15th. At this time the administration of Lindsay Schools is making plans to provide the best possible education for our students for the remainder of this school year. Each student will be contacted by their grade level principal concerning plans being developed. The success of a student will not be dependent on internet accessibility. We regret many school activities have been negatively affected. I realize many are concerned about future events, including graduation. We hope to be able to celebrate graduation on the scheduled date. We are monitoring the situation and will provide information as soon as we are able.

Although the State Department of Education is instructing districts not to offer instructional services through April 6, we would like to offer a collection of high-quality, interactive resources for your child during this transition. The resources can be found on our school website Coronavirus Information/Instructional Resources under the Explore Section. Again, these resources are optional. We are all in this together, and we all want what is best for our students.
